INTRODUCTION

This Event is organised by Members of the Royal Marines Association. There are five elements to this THREE DAY Fundraising Event:

  2. FRI 29 SEP 23        CHARITY AUCTION DINNER & PRIZE-GIVING 

  3. SAT 30 SEP 23       MILITARY & CIVILIAN TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

  4. SAT 30 SEP 23       ANNUAL PRIZE RAFFLE DRAW

  5. SUN 1st OCT 23     INDIVIDUAL SPORTING 40 (RE-ENTRY)

ALL THE PROFITS WILL GO TO RMA - THE ROYAL MARINES CHARITY

RMCCS 23 - TEAM SIM-GAME CHALLENGE

All Registered Team Members are Automatically assured of their seat at the Annual Charity Auction Dinner. 

Maximum 34 Teams - Register Your Team Online or Call the Event Line

Each Team will consist of 3 Civilian Guns (£900)

Your Team will be joined by a fourth gun, a Royal Marine; regular, reserve, recovering or retired - Your 'Wild Card'

0900-1030      Confirm Registration on Arrival - Morning Rolls and Coffee/Tea Available

1030h               Mandatory Safety Briefing

1100h               Commence Shoot: 5 x 50 bird Sim-Game Flushes; Team Trophies for Each Flush

  • Fur 'n' Feathers,

  • Partridge,

  • Duck,

  • Pheasant

  • Grouse 

1230-1400       Royal Marines ‘Scran’ (Chicken Curry/Chilli Beef) ‘Rolling Lunch’ to suit Teams 1430-1500h     Top 5 Scoring Teams ‘Shoot Off’ for Overall Honours 

 

Move to Garden Terrace & Riverside Marquee, Dunkeld House Hotel

 

1645h             Champagne Refreshment on the Garden Terrace

1715h             ‘Mess Beatings’ by Royal Marines Band Scotland, Corps of Drums

1745 - 1800    Move to Riverside Marquee

1800h             Welcome and Prize-Giving

1830h             3 Course Charity Auction Dinner  (Chicken or Venison dishes)

                         -  Accompanied by RM Band Ensemble

                        Charity Auction will run concurrently with Dinner

2130h              Secure and Dispersal

RMCCS23 - MILITARY & CIVILIAN TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS

 

Entries invited from H.M. Forces: All Arms Units, Emergency Services, University/College and Civilian Club Teams of 4 guns (£500). 

In order to further develop community relations, we encourage military teams to seek sponsorship from their local business, service or social partners.

 

0930-1045h   Confirm Team Registration on Arrival - Morning Rolls, Coffee /Tea available

1100h              Welcome and Mandatory Safety Briefing

1115h               Move to designated stances                     

                        Team Flush Competition - 5 x 40 birds.   (Various Category Team Prizes)

1230-1400h    Rolling Lunch Royal Marines 'Scran'

1445h              Flush Competition concludes

1500-1530h    Top Team Shoot-Offs - Followed by Top Military vs Top Civilian Team Shoot-Off.        

1600h              Prize Giving in the Event Marquee

1630h              Annual Raffle Draw

RMCCS23 - COUNTY CLAYS INDIVIDUAL SPORTING 40 (Re-Entry)  

To complete the weekend, this event is hosted and conducted by our Sponsor County Clays - the finest Shooting Ground in Scotland. This challenging yet fun event encourages safe guns of all standards to enjoy an individual Sporting 40-bird shoot with the option to re-enter as often as time and inclination permit.
